Halloween Craft Day!ハロウィン工作の日！

To celebrate Halloween in style, at Bowers we thought there’s nothing more stylish than bracelets! So, the kids made Halloween bracelets. We gave them a choice of three designs and three colors for the bands.

ハロウィンをおしゃれに楽しむために、バウアーズでは「ブレスレットほどスタイリッシュなものはない！」と考えました。そこで子どもたちはハロウィンブレスレット作りに挑戦しました。デザインは3種類、バンドの色も3色から選べるようにしました。

Witch, ghost or jack-o-lantern — a tough choice indeed! All the designs were very popular (my personal favorite was the ghost!). Once the design was chosen, the kids colored them freely in their own style. Next, they selected the bracelet color — orange, purple, or black — perfect Halloween shades. Teachers then helped attach the designs to the bands.

魔女、おばけ、そしてジャック・オー・ランタン――どれも人気で、選ぶのが大変そうでした！（ちなみに私はおばけが一番のお気に入りです！）デザインを選んだ後は、子どもたちがそれぞれのセンスで自由に色を塗りました。次に、ブレスレットの色をオレンジ・パープル・ブラックの中から選びます。どれもハロウィンらしい雰囲気にぴったりです。先生たちは、選ばれたデザインをバンドに貼り付けるお手伝いをしました。

Next came the decorating! We provided lots of jewels and stickers for the children to choose from so they could make their bracelets truly their own. The results were fantastic — so many creative and unique designs! The students put great effort and imagination into each one.

続いては、飾りつけの時間です。子どもたちはたくさんの宝石やステッカーの中から好きなものを選び、自分らしいブレスレットを仕上げていきました。完成した作品はどれも個性あふれる素敵な仕上がりで、子どもたちの創造力と工夫が光っていました。

Finally, we assembled everything with an elastic band so each bracelet would fit perfectly around the students’ wrists. The children truly enjoyed this creative experience. They worked hard to make bracelets that felt personal and meaningful — just in time for Halloween! Perhaps they’ll be wearing them at the Bowers Halloween party!

最後に、ゴムバンドで全てのパーツをまとめ、どの生徒の手首にもぴったり合うように仕上げました。子どもたちはこの制作活動を心から楽しみ、自分だけの特別なブレスレットを完成させました。ハロウィンに向けての素敵な思い出にもなったようです。もしかしたら、バウアーズのハロウィンパーティーでも身につけてくれるかもしれませんね！
