Bowers' Adult Christmas Party バワーのアダルト・クリスマスパーティー

December 13th was the day for our adult Christmas party, and what a party we had. Everything kicked off at 18:00, we started with some drinks, and once everyone was settled we brought out the food. A huge platter of food from around the world. English, French and Italian cheeses, pasta, sandwiches, sushi and tiramisu just to name a few!

12月13日は、大人向けのクリスマスパーティーの日でした。本当に素晴らしいパーティーとなりました。18時にスタートし、まずはドリンクを楽しみ、その後皆さんが落ち着いたところでお料理をお出ししました。世界各国のお料理が並ぶ、大きな盛り合わせです。イギリス、フランス、イタリアのチーズをはじめ、パスタ、サンドイッチ、お寿司、ティラミスなど、ほんの一部をご紹介しただけでも盛りだくさんでした。

Once everyone had full bellies it was time for the activities. First, we played bingo, with so many prizes on offer, it was harder to lose than to win! Even the teachers won some prizes! Next, we moved onto the gift exchange. It was so lovely to see everyone with their gifts! People really put hard work into their presents!

皆さんがお腹いっぱいになったところで、いよいよアクティビティの時間です。最初はビンゴゲームを行いましたが、景品がとても多く、負けるほうが難しいほどでした。先生たちも景品を獲得しましたよ！続いて、プレゼント交換を行いました。皆さんがプレゼントを手にしている姿はとても素敵でした。どのプレゼントにも、たくさんの心遣いと工夫が感じられました。

Finally, we finished with lots of dancing. Everyone was having a blast, many new and old faces enjoying their time together getting groovy! What a fabulous way to end the year with our students and friends!

最後はダンスで締めくくりました。初めての方もおなじみの方も、皆さん一緒にノリノリで、とても楽しい時間を過ごされていました。学生の皆さんや友人たちと共に、このように素晴らしい形で一年を締めくくることができ、本当に最高でした。
