Bowers’ Children’s Christmas Party! バワーズ・チルドレンズ・クリスマスパーティー！

The day has finally arrived that all our younger students are most excited about! All year round they look forward to this day. Bowers’ Children’s party. A day full of food, laughter and games.

ついに、すべての年少クラスの生徒たちが一年中楽しみにしていた日がやってきました！それがバウワーズ・チルドレンズ・パーティーです。食べ物、笑い声、そしてゲームでいっぱいの一日です。

To get things started we began by eating lots of food (including Christmas cake!!) Whilst the students were eating, we called them up by grade to decorate the gingerbread house. This was so much fun, and the students put a huge amount of care and effort into its construction. The gingerbread house was then put proudly on display until given as the bingo prize!

まず最初に、たくさんの食べ物（クリスマスケーキも含めて！！）を食べてパーティーがスタートしました。生徒たちが食事をしている間、学年ごとに呼び出してジンジャーブレッドハウスの飾り付けを行いました。とても楽しい時間で、生徒たちは細部まで気を配り、一生懸命作ってくれました。そのジンジャーブレッドハウスは、ビンゴの景品として渡されるまで誇らしげに展示されました。

Time for more games! Christmas bingo, our students love bingo, so we always make sure to have it! This was a very intense game of bingo as the winner would get to take home the gingerbread house the students had made earlier that day.

次はさらにゲームの時間です！クリスマスビンゴは生徒たちに大人気なので、毎年必ず行います。この日のビンゴは特に白熱した試合となりました。なぜなら、優勝者はその日にみんなで作ったジンジャーブレッドハウスを持ち帰ることができたからです。

Next came the stack the presents game. We split the students into two teams, with the goal of stacking the largest tower of presents. The team that made the highest tower (or make a tower that doesn’t fall) were made the winners and won a prize!

次に行ったのは「プレゼント積み上げゲーム」です。生徒たちは2チームに分かれ、できるだけ高くプレゼントを積み上げることを目標にしました。一番高いタワーを作れたチーム、または倒れないタワーを作れたチームが優勝し、賞品を獲得しました！

For the older children we then played an intense game of musical cushions. We split the students by age and played two games at the same time. The students taken this game very seriously as there were giant lollipop prizes on the line for the winner!

年齢が高い生徒たちには、白熱したミュージカルクッション（椅子取りゲーム）を行いました。年齢ごとに分かれて、同時に2つのゲームを進行しました。優勝者には巨大なロリポップの景品があったため、生徒たちはとても真剣に取り組んでいました！

As the party was ending, we finished the day with the gift exchange. This was the perfect way to end the day, as it left all the kids with a nice memory of giving and receiving gifts. It was such a nice day, and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

パーティーの最後には、プレゼント交換を行いました。これは、贈る喜びと受け取る喜びの両方を感じられる、最高の締めくくりとなりました。本当に素敵な一日で、みんなが心から楽しんでいました。
