Vision Board!

This week, our alternative class dove into their Vision Board project - a fun and meaningful way to explore English while also focusing on personal growth. 

今週のオルタナティブクラスでは「ビジョンボードプロジェクト」に取り組み始めました。これは、英語を楽しく、そして意味深く学びながら、自分自身の成長にも目を向けることができる活動です。

The Vision Board is all about reflection: looking inward, connecting with others, and exploring the world around us.

ビジョンボードのテーマは「リフレクション（自分を見つめよう）」です。自分自身を見つめtたり、 周りの人とつながったり、 世界に目を向けたりしながら進めていきます。

We kicked things off by encouraging students to decorate their boards in their own unique style - a great way to get creative and make it personal! Once the boards were beautifully set up, we began our vision board journey.

まずは、 みんなそれぞれの個性が出るように自由にボードをデコレーションすることから始めました 。創造力を発揮して、自分だけの作品にする素晴らしい機会です！ ボードが美しく飾られたら、いよいよビジョンボードの旅の始まりです。

In Phase One, students focused on themselves: sharing their hobbies, interests, and families. Now, we’re moving into Phase Two, which centers on the people around them and the idea of community.

フェーズ1では、生徒たちは自分自身にフォーカスして、趣味や興味、家族について英語で紹介しました。今はフェーズ2に入り、周りの人々や「コミュニティ」をテーマに学習を進めています。

In today’s class, we talked about best friends! Students had a great time drawing pictures of their best friends and sharing stories about them - all in English - with their teachers and classmates. Their artwork is now proudly displayed on their vision boards.

今日の授業では、「ベストフレンド（親友）」について話しました！ 生徒たちは自分の親友の絵を描いたり、その友達とのエピソードを英語で先生やクラスメートと共有したりして、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。その素敵なイラストは、さっそくビジョンボードに貼られていきます。

I’m so excited to see how each board evolves! At the end of the year, students will take their completed vision boards home - a keepsake to celebrate their progress, creativity, and everything they’ve learned this year.

これからみんなのビジョンボードがどのように進化していくのか、とても楽しみです！ 学年の終わりには、完成したビジョンボードを生徒たちが自宅に持ち帰ります。1年間の成長や思い出がギュッとつまった、宝物のような作品になるはずです!
